Hey guys and welcome back to another blog. Last time we talked about the Vex, Cabal, and some of the Taken army. Today we will continue talking about the army since we didn't finish.
Last time we talked about the taken thrall now we will talk about the others. Let us start with the taken captains. The taken captains are like regular captains but when they have a chance they will shoot out a giant blob of darkness at you which hurts and blinds your character. Next off we have taken centurions and they can summon a little ball that follows you around until you shoot it. If you don't shoot it will do tons of damage. Next are the taken wizards and they are like regular wizards but they can summon a thing call shadow thrall. Shadow thrall are like regular ones but in a different look. Next are taken goblins and their special ability is to cast an impenetrable shield around other enemies so kill the goblins first. Next are taken hobgoblins and they have their sniper. They will have three balls floating around them which act like projectiles and when shot or killed it will be sent to you. This will do some moderate damage. Finally we have taken minotaurs and they no longer have a shield but replaced with a cloak that you can barely see. When confronting one pay close attention since they produce a mist like aura around them and when they do a melee hit they will be visible. That is all the taken enemies known in the game and they are annoying when fighting, but next we will talk about a king of theirs that you don't want to meet.
Oryx is his name and taking is his game. Oryx is Crota's father and you slew his son with his own sword(Sword of Crota). Now he wants revenge. He will stop you by using his army of Taken and destroy you just like you did to Crota. Oryx has a ship/super weapon known as the Dreadnaught. This weapon was used to destroy an army of Awoken, a race that helps you in your journey, with just one command. Oryx looks like a hive wizard with bat wings, and has a sword called "Willbreaker." In the game you will fight him in the story mode call "Regiside", which literally means to kill a king. In "Regicide" you kill the king, but he uses some kind of last resort to flee. There is also a raid called "King's Fall" which is all about puzzles, boss battles, and parkour. I did the "King's Fall" raid with a group of six players, and it is extremely hard. The raid can take hours if you don't have the right team. That is Oryx and the missions that you will meet him.
That is all for today guys and next week I might talk about a different game.
I was considering to play this game. The way you explained how the game works helped me understand it in a better meaning. I like how you explained the characters.
